Vodafone Romania (MobiFon) says it has expanded its HSDPA 3.5G network to six additional cities. The operator’s high speed networks were launched in Cluj-Napoca, Brasov, Constanta, Craiova, Timisoara and Iasi last week. The first HSDPA services were introduced in Bucharest in October last year. Vodafone had 7.7 million subscribers and a 45% share of the Romanian mobile market at the end of September, according to figures from TeleGeography’s GlobalComms database.
