Mexican cellco Iusacell has announced a fourth quarter turnover of MXP2.05 billion (USD186 million), up from MXP1.81 billion reported in the same period of 2005. For the full year revenues increased 22% to MXP7.75 billion. The company attributed the increases to a rise in subscriber base to 2.1 million and higher revenues from value added and roaming services. Net income for the last quarter of 2006 was MXP1.02 billion (up by MXP867 million) while the figure for the year was MXP3.88 billion. Iusacell is majority owned by Móvil Access, a subsidiary of Grupo Salinas. Móvil Access holds around 80% of Iusacell stock, with the remainder distributed.
