Dialog Telekom, Sri Lanka’s leading cellco, has completed its USD150 million investment pledge to the island’s Board of Investment (BoI), bringing its total investment in its infrastructure to over USD450 million. A significant portion of the spending reportedly went towards the development of Dialog’s subsidiary Dialog Broadband Networks (DBN), including the expansion of its MPLS data communications network, the rollout of a CDMA fixed-wireless network and the launch of WiMAX broadband services.
