Omantel to deploy more hotspots

Oman incumbent and sole telecoms operator Omantel has said it plans to provide more Wi-Fi hotpots to increase service coverage to more parts of the Sultanate. Omantel originally launched Wi-Fi services in March 2006 with a hotspot at the Cargeen Café in Madinat Al Qaboos, and has since installed eleven more in various hotels and commercial centres in response to demand from users.
