Ertach wins government contract in Rawson

BNamericas reports that Argentine ISP Ertach has won a contract to provide wireless internet to government agencies in the southern city of Rawson, capital of Chubut province. The value of the deal was not revealed. The ISP, an acquisition target of Mexican giant Telmex, currently operates a nationwide WiMAX network of 40 base stations covering 80,000 sq km, and is forecasting revenue growth of 35% during 2007, compared to the ARS30 million (USD9.7 million) it earned in 2006.
