14 Feb 2007

Chunghwa Telecom has lowered forecasts for its full-year 2007 revenues due the introduction of lower tariffs for mobile and broadband products. Chunghwa originally predicted sales of TWD185.5 billion (USD5.61 billion) but now forecasts it will be closer to TWD183.2 billion. The country’s National Communications Commission has ordered the country’s dominant telco to lower charges for ADSL and 2G cellular services for three consecutive years beginning in April this year, reports DigiTimes.
