Bouygues Télécom FY sales up 2%

French mobile operator Bouygues Télécom, which accounts for nearly two-fifths of the Bouygues group’s total earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation, has reported revenues of EUR4.54 billion (USD5.88 billion) in 2006, up 2% year-on-year, and marginally higher than the company’s forecast. The mobile operator had 8.722 million subscribers at the end of December, 71.6% of whom were signed up to monthly contracts. Revenues from broadcaster TF1, in which Bouygues holds a controlling stake, were up 6% to EUR2.64 billion.
