IIJ net income up 18.2% in Q3

Internet access and network solutions provider Internet Initiative Japan (IIJ) has announced its third quarter results for the year ending 31 March 2007, reporting net income of JPY1.41 billion (USD11.8 million), up 18.2% on the corresponding period a year earlier. Revenues in the period under review totalled JPY13.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.5%, and operating income was up 42.7% at JPY986 million.

IIJ has revised its full year targets for its current fiscal year (originally announced on 2 November 2006). The revised targets are JPY56.5 billion for turnover, JPY3.4 billion for operating income, pre-tax profits of JPY5.2 billion and net income of JPY5.2 billion.
