Arcep reports 3.8% growth in French mobile users in Q4

According to the latest data published by the French telecoms regulator Arcep, the number of people with mobile phones in France climbed by 3.8% in the final quarter of last year to 51.69 million people, or 81.8% of the population. The three main network operators – Orange France, SFR and Bouygues Télécom – collectively added 1.36 million in the period under review, while mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) added 438,200 new users, a year-on-year rise of 45.9%, to end the year with 2.79% of the total market.
