PacNet to offer seamless internet access under Singapore’s Wireless@SG project

Internet communications provider Pacific Internet (PacNet) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with iCELL Network, one of the three service providers in the government’s Wireless@SG initiative, giving its customers seamless island-wide broadband access in Singapore. Under the MoU, PacNet customers will be able to receive free wireless internet connectivity at public hotspots with speeds up to 512kbps. The service will be available from end-January 2007.
