FastWeb tops one million

The Italian broadband provider FastWeb has passed the one million subscriber mark, ending 2006 with 1.062 million high speed internet customers. The firm added 105,000 net new DSL subscribers in the fourth quarter. Full-year revenues were up 30% in 2006 to EUR1.26 billion (USD1.63 billion), while EBITDA for the year reached EUR424 million, up 39% on the 2005 figure.
