SkyLink to get investment boost

The Russian CDMA450 wireless operator Skylink is to get a RUB1.89 billion (USD71.3 million) injection of funds in 2007. The firm is set to issue 18.9 million shares worth RUB100 each, Prime Tass reports, and these will be offered to shareholders in proportion to their current holdings in the telco. SkyLink’s current shareholders include AFK Sistema and RTDC Holding. The firm has around 450,000 wireless subscribers on its CDMA450 networks nationwide.
