2 Jan 2007

Singapore’s second largest internet service provider (ISP) StarHub has launched an ultra-high speed broadband service for residential users, offering its subscribers a 100Mbps downstream connection via data over cable service interface specification (DOCSIS) 3.0 technology. StarHub announced its plans to upgrade its DOCSIS 1.1 cable network to DOCSIS 3.0 in March 2006. Its new platform will allow residential subscribers of StarHub’s MaxOnline (MOL) broadband service to access speeds of up to 100Mbps from today.
