Russia’s largest and third largest cellular operators, MTS and MegaFon, have signed a deal to allow their customers to exchange MMS messages. The service has been launched in all regions where the pair operate, Prime Tass reports. MegaFon has previously signed MMS deals with SMARTS, Utel, Motiv and NSS.

Separately, MTS has teamed up with alternative wireline operator Golden Line to launch a converged fixed-mobile (‘FMC’)product to corporate customers in Moscow. The new offering allows all office and mobile phones within a company to be integrated into a single network, says Prime Tass. Both firms are part-owned subsidiaries of the AFK Sistema group.
