Irancell to boost coverage to 70 cities

Irancell is expecting to be offering GSM coverage in 70 cities and 300 towns by the end of the Iranian calendar year on 21 March 2007, Taliya News reports. The new network, which was launched in October, is currently active in Tehran, Mash’had, Tabriz, Sari, Karaj, Oroumiyeh and Maraqeh. Irancell is part-owned by South Africa-based MTN Group.
