ONE goes with Ericsson for HSPA

Austria’s third largest cellular operator ONE has selected Ericsson to expand and upgrade its WCDMA network with high speed packet access (HSPA) technology. The Swedish vendor will also provide turnkey network deployment, integration and support services. The financial details of the three-year deal were not disclosed. ONE’s chief executive, Jörgen Bang-Jensen, said: ‘In the next two years we will offer our customers a nationwide coverage with mobile broadband.’
