Taliya targets network expansion

Iran’s second largest cellco Taliya says it expects to have coverage of all major towns and cities by early January 2007. The firm’s PR manager Abolfazl Shakeri told news portal Taliya News: ‘Presently the technical coverage of this operator is complete in twenty major Iranian cities in eighteen provinces.’ The firm has approximately 700,000 subscribers nationwide, but lags well behind market leader TCI which has attracted around eleven million customers.
