ETB selects Ericsson for new broadband network

Colombia fixed line operator Empresa de Telecommunicaciones de Bogota (ETB) has selected Ericsson to supply broadband network equipment which will allow it to offer ADSL2+ internet access, IPTV, IP telephony and gaming applications. The first installation has already been successfully carried out, with the network launched commercially. Installation of the total solution is expected to be complete by the end of 2006.
