Nawras clinches deal with OPAL

6 Dec 2006

Omani cellco Nawras, which launched GSM services in March 2005 and had cornered a quarter of the market within 18 months, has tied up a deal to supply mobile phone services to the Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL), an organisation of companies in the oil and gas sector. Nawras plans to offer discounted business services to OPAL member firms, as well as offering lower line-rental and call charges to their individual employees and their families.
