Starcomms extends network to Ibadan

Nigerian CDMA2000 1x fixed wireless access (FWA) operator Starcomms, which claims over 400,000 subscribers nationwide, has launched services in the city of Ibadan. The telco was awarded a unified service licence in August 2006 and is the most subscribed provider of its type in the country, according to TeleGeography’s GlobalComms database.
