Irish broadband base doubled to 430,000 in Q306

According to the latest study published by Forfás today, the number of people with a broadband connection in Ireland doubled in the twelve months to end-September 2005, from 212,000 to 430,000. Forfás’s broadband benchmarking update, last published in December 2005, assesses the country’s comparative performance in high speed internet access, costs and services.
