29 Nov 2006

New Century InfoComm Tech (sparq) has awarded California-based Dilithium Networks a contract for the supply of its Dilithium DTG 2000 multimedia gateway, which will be used for the launch of commercial IP video to 3G video telephony services. DTG 2000 incorporates Dilithium Networks’ Unicoding technology which enables fast, efficient transcoding while significantly reducing the time delay and compute resources required to transcode between any two media standards. Additional key benefits include Video Refresh (for eliminating video corruption in messaging and streaming platforms) and AnswerFast (that reduces call setup times to less than a second).
