24 Nov 2006

French mobile operator Orange France has launched High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) services in Toulouse and Bordeaux, using equipment supplied by Nokia of Finland. Nokia says its HSDPA solution offers almost ten-times faster data services than current 3G networks. In addition to W-CDMA 3G and HSDPA infrastructure, Nokia says it has provided Orange France with radio optimisation services for the HSDPA network.
