MegaFon switched on

Russia’s third largest cellular operator, MegaFon, has launched services in two new regions in Siberia. The cellco has switched on networks in the Irkutsk region and in the Ust-Orda Buryat Autonomous District, Prime Tass reports. MegaFon is the only Russian operator with a full nationwide licence and now operates in 85 of the country’s 88 regions. It had 28.07 million subscribers at the end of September.
