Internet users in 45 rural villages in Oman will receive free installation and a free fixed-wireless telephone set if they subscribe to Omantel’s wireless in the local loop (WiLL) internet service before 29 December 2006. In the future, the incumbent plans to extend its WiLL coverage to 200 rural villages.
