Russian telecoms group Sistema is in talks to enter the Greek telecoms market by acquiring an alternative fixed line carrier, according to quoting statements made by the company’s head Vladimir Yevtushenkov to Russian news agency Interfax. Yevtushenkov added that a possible deal could be made in the next two months but he declined to give further details or the name of the target company. The online paper said Hellas On Line could be a candidate due to its affiliation with Intracom Holdings.
