Singapore’s Pacific Internet (PacNet), a telco-independent internet communications service provider which offers services in the Asia-Pacific, has announced the launch of its PacNet @irPower wireless service, a business broadband service targeted initially at companies located in the western part of Singapore. PacNet @irPower offers additional bandwidth when customers need it, through its ‘burstable bandwidth’ feature which enhances flexibility by providing additional bandwidth when needed most. The service provides customers with 32 static IP addresses, a wireless subscriber unit and a standard Ethernet router as part of the simple self-installation process. The @irPower solution is delivered through proprietary technology that rides on a spectrum licensed by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA).
