The municipal council of Argentina’s third largest city, Rosario, has approved a project designed to make it the first ‘digital city’ in the country, reports BNamericas, quoting local paper La Nación. The ‘Cuidad Digital 2010’ programme will see free broadband access supplied across the city by 2010 with the deployment of a network of Wi-Fi hotspots.
