Xfera Móviles, the Spanish 3G start-up recently taken over by TeliaSonera, plans to launch commercial mobile services in the second week of December under the brand name ‘Yoigo’, according to Europa Press. Earlier this month Xfera completed its first 3G call over its UMTS network, which is currently being rolled out by Ericsson. It will offer nationwide coverage based on a combination of its own 3G network and roaming over the network of Vodafone Spain.
