Q-Tel’s revenues up 44.3%

Qatar Telecom (Q-Tel)’s net profits reached a total of USD356 million in the first nine months of 2006, up 39.2% over the same period of 2005, on revenues that rose 44.3% to USD833 million. Nine-month EBITDA was USD525 million, up 47% year-on-year. The group’s mobile customer base grew by 56.5% to stand at 1.33 million at the end of September.
