DiGi revamps pre-paid tariffs

17 Oct 2006

DiGi Telecommunications, Malaysia’s smallest mobile operator by subscribers, has revamped its pre-paid call plans and now offers users a flat-rate tariff for all domestic calls to all mobile operators. Under the new pricing structure, users are charged at MYR0.48 per minute for the first MYR30-worth of calls per month, after which the price drops to MYR0.38 per minute; previously all pre-paid calls were charged on a per-second basis. The company said the changes have been applied to all existing and new DiGi pre-paid customers with immediate effect.
