TeliaSonera Sweden has launched a trial mobile TV service in Stockholm, based on the DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcast – Handheld) standard. 50 participants have access to 14 TV channels, and the company expects the project to provide it with valuable feedback in preparation for a future commercial launch of the service. TeliaSonera previously launched DVB-H broadcast trials in Gothenburg and through its subsidiary in Finland.
