According to the latest figures released by the CMT, the number of broadband connections in Spain exceeded six million at the end of August, thanks to a surge in demand for ADSL. As reported by Telecom.Paper, the figures confirm Telefonica’s dominance, with 3.3 million ADSL connections compared to the 1.38 million shared between the altnets, the largest of which are Orange, Ya.com and Jazztel.
