Celcom launches Vodafone and BlackBerry services

Malaysian mobile operator Celcom has launched a portfolio of advanced services under a partnership agreement with UK-based Vodafone Group, signed by its parent Telekom Malaysia in January. Under the terms of the deal, Celcom is launching new services including the Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G datacard and advanced roaming services across Vodafone networks worldwide. Celcom is also introducing Vodafone’s tailored BlackBerry Enterprise Solution, the mobile office application developed by Research In Motion (RIM). Celcom’s first BlackBerry handset is the BlackBerry 8707v, which is the first 3G-enabled Blackberry device to be launched in Malaysia.
