Telenor extends mobile coverage

Telenor Pakistan says it has rolled out GSM mobile services to 613 towns and cities within 18 months of launch, making it Pakistan’s second largest network operator and putting it on track to meet its goal of covering 70% of the population by its fourth year of operation. Earlier this month Telenor switched on EDGE services across Karachi, Faisalabad, Abbottabad and Peshawar.
