O2 Ireland inks deal with Ericsson

O2 Ireland has signed a deal with Ericsson that sees the Swedish vendor become the sole supplier for the cellco’s 3G network. Under the four-year agreement, Ericsson will provide new 2G and 3G core network equipment, as well as upgrading the access network with HSDPA technology.
