Norwegian incumbent Telenor has signed an agreement with pan-European wireless broadband network operator The Cloud to co-operate on the roll out of Wi-Fi hotspots at various locations across Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the UK, in airports, hotels, city zones and railway stations. Telenor said the first phase of the rollout will see The Cloud build 800 and 500 new hotspots in Sweden and Denmark respectively. Under the deal, Telenor customers will be able to connect to the internet at the new access points and more than 8,000 Cloud public hotspots across Europe.
