Nokia to provide mobile solutions for Telenor worldwide

Norwegian telecoms group Telenor has signed a global two-year frame agreement with Nokia for cellular transmission solutions and services. Under the agreement, Nokia will supply Telenor with microwave radios to be used for transmission from both GSM/W-CDMA base stations and fixed networks when new sites are deployed, or an increase in capacity is needed. The agreement covers all regions where Telenor and its affiliated companies have operations. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
