Taiwan Mobile ups 3G investment

Taiwan Mobile has increased its proposed spending on 3G systems after placing additional orders with its preferred 3G supplier Nokia worth TWD4.8 billion (USD146 million). The deal will bring the cellco’s total 3G investment to around TWD11 billion (USD335 million) by the end of the year.
