Qatar Telecom (Q-Tel) will install more than 60 repeater stations in the Doha area before the start of the Asian Games in December, in a bid to improve weak mobile network reception in some localities, reports local news service The Peninsula. Q-Tel’s GSM/UMTS network capacity will also be expanded from 1.2 million users to 1.4 million this year, according to company spokesperson Sheikh Fahad bin Jassim Al Thani.
