H3G UK to triple retail presence

Mobile operator Hutchison 3G UK (H3G UK) has revealed plans to triple the number of stores it operates in the UK by the end of the year, as part of a wider restructuring of its retail presence. According to The Independent, H3G UK, which operates under the brand name ‘three’ will add more than 40 stores to bolster its chain of 20 and is to redesign its shops so that customers can trial advanced new services, including streaming TV, video calling and music downloads. Alongside its own stores, H3G UK services are sold via a number of mobile retailers and other retail outlets.
