Ericsson has announced that it has deployed a trial VDSL2 broadband network for TDC which will be used by the operator to deliver triple-play services, including internet, IP telephony and IPTV. According to the Swedish equipment vendor, VDSL2 is the first major DSL broadband technology to allow Ethernet end-to-end architecture.
