Cesky/Eurotel merger completed

Telefónica-owned Cesky Telecom and Eurotel Praha have completed their merger into a single entity. The new company will be known as Telefónica O2 CR. The Spanish giant announced that it expects the move to bring in additional sales of around USD382 million from a combination of increased revenue streams and cost savings. The company has indicated that it plans to offer new packages to consumers combining fixed line and mobile services.
