Pannon expands 3G coverage

Pannon has revealed that it has expanded its 3G network coverage to five new cities, including Debrecen, Siófok and Tatabánya and from the end of July, Nyíregyháza and Kecskemét, adding to existing coverage of Budapest, Gyor, Szombathely, Székesfehérvár, Pécs, Szeged and Miskolc. The cellco – the second largest by subscribers with a 31.9% market share at March 2006 – claims that its EDGE/W-CDMA network will cover 85% of the population by the end of July.
