Nokia bags radio and HSDPA network deal from Saudi Telecom

Nokia has won a radio and High Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) network order from Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC). Under the terms of the deal Nokia will supply STC with radio network equipment, including its transmission solution, plus HSDPA software. Nokia will also provide STC with services including network planning, telecoms implementation, project management, operations support and optimization. Nokia claims it has 61 W-CDMA customers worldwide.
