Canadian cellco Telus Mobility has expanded its CDMA2000 1xEV-DO network coverage to Kamloops and Kelowna, British Columbia. Having first launched the 3G service in November 2005, Telus’ EV-DO network now covers Vancouver, Victoria, Whistler, Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Red Deer, Toronto, Ontario’s Golden Horseshoe and Muskoka regions, Ottawa, Montreal, Mont-Tremblant, St. Jovite and Quebec City. The company plans to continue to expand its footprint to other regions throughout 2006.
