T-Mobile extends 3G/HSDPA coverage to eight cities

T-Mobile Hungary says its mobile broadband internet access service, based on 3G/HSDPA technology, has been launched in Gyor and Szeged, extending the operator’s coverage to eight cities. T-Mobile subscribers can now access the internet at speeds of 1.5Mbps in Budapest, Debrecen, Pécs, Balatonfüred, Siófok, Balatonalmádi, Gyor and Szeged. By 2008 T-Mobile hopes to significantly increase the data speeds available on its 3G/HSDPA mobile broadband network to 10Mbps (downlink) and 2Mbps (uplink).
