Singapore cellcos launch OCBC Bank’s mobile bank portal via GPRS

The Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC Bank) has announced the launch of its mobile bank portal with interactive and secured mobile services on the GPRS platforms of the country’s three network operators – MobileOne Asia (MI), SingTel Mobile and StarHub. The new service allows customers to carry out many transactions such as transferring funds, paying bills and checking their bank accounts, via a wide range of 2.5G and 3G mobile phones. The bank introduced a secured mobile banking service in November 2005, via StarHub’s i-mode service.
