French retailer Fnac to launch mobile service in July

The French electronics, music and publishing chain Fnac has announced plans to launch a branded mobile service on 6 July, writes Telecompaper. The group will rent capacity on Orange’s network to offer its ‘FNAC Mobile avec Orange’ service, which includes four tariff plans, with prices starting from EUR44 a month for 180 minutes of calls. The new service will be sold at 67 Fnac stores in France and users will have a choice of around ten models.
