TeliaSonera Sweden has announced that its national 3G network rollout will be completed by autumn. Marie Ehrling, head of the Swedish cellco, said: ’We’re very satisfied that we will soon fulfil the licence terms’. Svenska UMTS-nät,, a company jointly owned by TeliaSonera Sweden and Tele2 which is building out the W-CDMA networks of both companies, will file a report with regulator the PTS within the next few days stating that 3G coverage will comply with licence terms and conditions in the autumn. TeliaSonera had an estimated 150,000 3G users at the end of 2005.
